Rhino Liner Or ArmorThane – Who offers the best bedliner?
Not many people know this, but 30 years ago the owners of
ArmorThane and RhinoLiner knew each other and both worked collectively to come
up with the best possible chemical blends. Soon afterward, the ArmorThane bed
liners were using the best administration method compared to the common cold
process from Rhino Liner. They also offered a country-wide guarantee, years
before that provided by Rhino. Moreover, The ArmorThane brand has more of a
cult following than the RhinoLiner. With people that use them typically going
back time and time again because of the commitment and loyalty to the brand.
Both profess to be the ‘best.’ However, alleging is not an
essential factor for a permanent bedliner
for your truck. ArmorThane time and time again has proven itself to be
unmatched when it comes to almost every factor taken into concern. As someone who
has been in the industry for over 2 decades, I would be misleading if i said
any different.
This will help you to choose the most suitable product. You
can always research on the web, ask your local dealers, your friends, and
family who also had a bedliner installed on their vehicle, and then decide
which one is the suitable for your truck.
1. Lifetime warranty
Rhino Liner and ArmorThane locations are individually owned
and are not associated with any franchise, so if there is a repair that needs
to be done, you do not have to deal with corporate beauracrats doing things
through a whole process of filling out forms, then waiting for them to be
passed up the chain.
2. The quality of
the bedliner installer
I have seen some Line-X sprays and I would be embarrassed if
that came out of a shop i worked at or owned. The good news is that every
ArmorThane bedliner should have a warranty tag that also states the shop that
the bed liner was sprayed at. I would HIGHLY recommend that you call the
location that you want to get your truck sprayed and set a time to visit them
and their work. Typically if you go towards the afternoon, they should have a
truck that they just sprayed so that you can view how the installer sprays and
how their texture is. You can also request to go heavier or lighter on the
composition but more importantly, look at the bedliner and see if you like the
looks and feel. Look for overspray, look for their lines, are they straight and
clean? If you don’t like the way it comes out but still want ArmorThane (why
should you want something else?), then visit another location and repeat.
ArmorThane has been doing bedliners for over 30 years, and
they continue to improve. They do have labs with the chemist that continue to
develop better products and applications. I know first hand that you will have
no problems with them and that every applicator goes through vigorous training
and will not be certified unless they know how to spray a bedliner blindfolded.
ArmorThane is the way to go!
